RM43.5 million  for industrial park projects 
Under 13MP, an approved ceiling of RM80.25 million will fund 47 development projects comprising eight continuation and 39 new projects.
NEXT year, RM43.53 million is allocated to implement industrial park infrastructure and utility development projects in KKIP, POIC Lahad Datu and Sogip to create a more conducive environment for investment.

To support economic development across all districts, Sedco receives RM16.90 million to continue existing projects, including shop houses in Kalabakan and Tungku, Matunggong Shops, two blocks of shop and hotel buildings in Pulau Bum-Bum Semporna and shops in Weston and Kampung Padas Damit Beaufort.

In line with the restructuring of ministries, the Sabah Railway Department (JKNS) and the Ports and Harbours Department (JPDS) are now placed under KPKP.

JKNS is allocated RM66.59 million for operational and development expenditure in 2026, including the RM4 million Repair of Padas River Slopes and Embankment Project along the Beaufort-Tenom stretch.

JKNS will also construct a pedestrian walkway in Petagas, upgrade public level crossings in phases and procure one locomotive and two new Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs) worth RM5.80 million to ensure railway services remain relevant, safe and efficient.

JPDS is allocated RM27.64 million for operational and development expenditure next year. Under 13MP, JPDS has an approved ceiling of RM32.23 million covering 23 projects, including five continuation and 18 new projects.

These included hydrographic surveys in Wallace Bay, installation of a Vessel Traffic Monitoring System in Tawau, upgrading the Menumbok Ferry Terminal Phase 4, construction of a pontoon jetty in Karakit and preliminary works for a ferry terminal between Pulau Bum-Bum and Semporna.

JPDS will also prioritise scheduled maintenance of port facilities such as government wharves, barter trade jetties, navigational aids and departmental vessel structures to ensure operational safety and efficiency, which Masidi said is essential for smooth logistics and strengthening Sabah’s maritime competitiveness.
