Kota Kinabalu: Universal iCar Sdn Bhd officially launched the iCAUR V23 in Sabah, marking the brand’s second fully electric model introduced in Malaysia and strengthening its presence in East Malaysia’s growing EV market.
Universal iCar Sdn Bhd Director Clinton Chok, said the debut of the V23 in Sabah represents an important milestone for iCAUR, reflecting the company’s commitment to bringing advanced and future-ready mobility solutions to the state.

“The V23 is the second iCAUR model to be introduced in Malaysia, and its arrival in Sabah underscores our confidence in the local market,” he said during the launch at SPC 4X4 Penampang on Saturday.
Clinton noted that the positive response received during the earlier launch of the iCAUR 03 had reinforced the company’s belief in the potential of electric vehicles among Sabah consumers.
He said the V23 is expected to further elevate the iCAUR brand with its combination of off-road capability, distinctive design and modern technology, catering to drivers seeking both adventure and everyday practicality.
“Today’s launch marks only the beginning of Universal iCar’s longer-term engagement with the Sabahan market, as the company looks to introduce more products and enhance customer experiences in the state,” he said.
