Kota Kinabalu: Datuk Dr Roland Chia praised the Menggatal and Inanam Councils of Churches, led by Rev. Sabry Daniel and Ps. Bious Solingkin, for their successful joint Christmas celebration at Dewan Masyarakat Menggatal.
The event, marking its 11th year for the Inanam Council, showcased unity among various Christian denominations including Roman Catholics, Anglicans, SIB, Baptists and more.

Dr. Chia challenged the councils to host a Christmas Open House in 2026, aiming to reach over 200,000 residents across Kolombong, Inanam and Menggatal.
This year’s celebration stood out with vibrant traditional dances such as Rungus, Sumazau, and Western-style performances, representing all generations from youth to seniors.
Dr. Chia expressed hope that the event would receive recognition from both Federal and State Tourism and Cultural agencies.
