KIULU: Kiulu is set to adopt a renewed leadership approach as the roles of youth and women are strengthened, particularly in decision-making and community programme management.

Kiulu Assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai said this move is crucial to ensure leadership approaches in Kiulu meet current needs, especially in rural development, which requires fresh ideas and new energy.

He emphasised that the participation of young people and women is a strategic necessity to improve governance and ensure programmes reflect community needs.

“Youth and women today have the capacity, skills, and perspective needed to lead their communities,” he said while officiating a darts competition at the St Philip Neri open hall in Pekan Nabalu on Saturday.
