KOTA KINABALU: A day after shifting their tone, the Gagasan Rakyat Youth and Women’s wings have now aligned in full support of Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor as Chief Minister, party president and GRS chairman.
Both wings said GRS’s victory in the recent Sabah state election clearly reflects public confidence in Hajiji’s leadership, which they credited for political stability, economic progress and continued development across the state.
Youth and Women leaders urged their machinery at all levels to strengthen unity and give unwavering backing to the Chief Minister over the next five years to ensure development agendas, social wellbeing efforts and Sabah’s overall progress can be carried out consistently and effectively.
They also extended congratulations to the newly sworn-in Sabah Cabinet, expressing confidence that the line-up will be able to resolve long-standing issues, expand welfare initiatives, empower women and youths, improve governance and uphold Sabah’s rights in line with the spirit of MA63.
They said the next five years will prove the capacity of the GRS Plus government to steer Sabah toward becoming a more stable, prosperous and competitive state for the benefit of future generations.
