TENOM: Preacher and philanthropist Ebit Irawan Ibrahim Lew (
pic) will know on April 30, 2026, whether he has a case to answer over 11 charges linked to alleged sexual harassment.
Magistrate Nur Asraf Zolhani fixed the date after the prosecution closed its case on Wednesday, having called 18 witnesses during the hearing.

Defence counsel Datuk Ram Singh said submissions from both sides must be filed on or before 23 February 2026, with replies due by 31 March 2026.
Ebit, 38, is accused of sending lewd messages and photos to a woman in her 40s via WhatsApp between March and June 2021.
He is charged under Section 509 of the Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to five years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both upon conviction.
