TAWAU: Sabah DAP Chairman Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe said Pakatan Harapan’s DAP candidate for Sri Tanjong Philip Yap Wui Lip has achieved 10 major accomplishments over three challenging years, despite the constituency’s incumbent Justin Wong leaving the party to join Parti Warisan in 2022.

Phoong said the record proves that Philip and Tawau DAP are not like other parties that only appear during election season, as they continue to serve consistently and diligently for the people’s welfare.

“We want to express our appreciation to all Sri Tanjong voters for standing with Tawau DAP since 2008,” he said, urging voters in this traditional DAP stronghold to deliver a Pakatan Harapan victory on Nov. 29.

Speaking at a media conference at the PH Sri Tanjong Election Operations Room, alongside State DAP Secretary Vivian Wong and Philip Yap Wui Lip, Phoong highlighted Philip’s accomplishments, including the establishment of a mobile service counter at Pasar Baru Taman Sin Onn every Sunday to address residents’ concerns and provide free health screenings for senior citizens.
