Kota Kinabalu: Popular Sarawak political influencer Daniel Jani is in Sabah to show solidarity with leaders advocating for Sabah rights ahead of the Nov 29 polls.
Daniel, 49, said his visit reflects the growing spirit of regional cooperation among East Malaysian activists and political figures.
He said the call for stronger regional rights is a shared struggle that resonates across both Sabah and Sarawak.
Daniel, who has a huge following on social media, discusses a wide range of political issues particularly those concerning the Borneo regions’ rights and position in the Federation.
His channels have attracted hundreds of thousands of views.
“My key message to Sabahan voters is never allow outsiders to control their affairs,” he said.
Prior to becoming a political influencer, Daniel served as Sarawak PKR Information Chief and later the party’s Vice Chairman for Sarawak.
