KOTA KINABALU: Upko president Datuk Ewon Benedick (pic), who is also Penampang MP, announced that he has officially submitted his resignation letter as Federal Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister on Monday morning.

Ewon said he will begin using his remaining leave starting Monday and will chair a special meeting of the Upko Supreme Council later in the evening.

He added that the meeting will focus on the “Sabah First” agenda, which remains the core of the party’s struggle as enshrined in its constitution.
