Elderly man found dead in locked Sandakan home
SANDAKAN: A 66-year-old man, Wong Kim Hau, was found dead inside his locked home at Jalan Labuk Batu 8 this morning after firefighters forced entry.

District Fire Chief Jimmy Lagung said they received an emergency call at 9:07am, arrived at 9:36am, and discovered the door locked from the inside.

Using special equipment, firefighters gained entry and found the man unresponsive. 

Health authorities confirmed his death, and the body was handed over to police.
