KOTA KINABALU: A photo of a backdrop screen allegedly revealing the list of Sabah DAP candidates for the 17th Sabah Legislative Assembly General Election has gone viral, sparking widespread curiosity ahead of the party’s official announcement.
The image shows a mix of familiar and new faces, with nearly half the names being women candidates.
Kota Kinabalu MP Datuk Chan Foong Hin is listed for Tanjung Aru, while Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe is expected to move to Likas, and Sabah Dapsy chief Chan Loong Wei to contest in Luyang.
Senator Noorita Sual is tipped to run in Kemabong, with Sandakan MP Vivian Wong in Elopura and Kapayan incumbent Datuk Jannie Lasimbang retaining her seat.
Sabah DAP is scheduled to announce its official list of candidates here on Saturday morning.
