SANDAKAN: Sabah DAP is fully prepared for the coming state election and will announce its candidates this Saturday (Nov 9), said its Deputy Chairman Datuk Chan Foong Hin.
He said the party has finalised its line-up of candidates who will contest in various constituencies across the State.
“We already have our list of candidates ready,” he said.
Asked about the candidate for the Tanjong Papat seat, Chan confirmed the candidate has been decided and will be revealed during the official announcement.
He said the party’s consistent victories in Sandakan since 2013 for the parliamentary seat and 2018 for the two state seats reflect voters’ continued trust.
“There’s no issue of a lack of confidence among voters. They know how to assess and make the right choice,” he said.
