SANDAKAN: Sabah should have a special fund dedicated specifically to areas such as education for local children, said Sabah Keadilan Leadership Council Chairman Datuk Mustapha Sakmud.
He said this is important, particularly to create a more effective source of funding for higher education, dilapidated schools and other public needs.
“It will also ensure that the funds are managed properly,” he said.
“If possible, this matter should be discussed in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN),” he added.
