KUCHING: A fire broke out at about 7.30pm on 12 October at the Sarawak Cultural Village in Santubong, affecting the Bidayuh longhouse,
DayakDaily reported.
Firefighters from Petra Jaya, Tabuan Jaya and Padungan units responded swiftly and brought the blaze under control.
However, there were no injuries or casualties reported in the incident.
Only the Bidayuh longhouse sustained damage, while all other cultural houses and village facilities remain unaffected.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause, and visitor access around the affected area is temporarily restricted.
