SIPITANG: A total of 68 participants, comprising sports teachers, attended the Athletics Coaching Workshop held at the Seminar Room of the Sipitang District Education Office (PPD) and the Sipitang Sports Complex, which concluded on Thursday.
The programme coordinators were Jimmy Udan and Voo Sui Kiong @ Fredy.
Jimmy stated that the workshop was held in conjunction with the ‘Road to 27’ District-Level Programme for Sipitang 2025.
Its aim is to provide knowledge and skills to sports teachers in every school, with the goal of improving the performance and excellence of athletics in schools across the Sipitang district.
The workshop was organised by the Sipitang District Education Office (PPD) and facilitated by coach Raynold Peter from the Humansport Athletics Club.
It was officially launched by the Director of the Sabah State Sports Council, Mohd Asneh Mohd Noor, and was held over two days starting from July 30.
The presentation of certificates and tokens of appreciation was officiated by Sipitang District Education Officer Zulkifle Kassim and Assistant Education Officer from the Student Talent Development Unit Muhammad Zulfadhli Amir.
