PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional aims to contest at least one state seat in every parliamentary constituency in Sabah in the upcoming state election, said deputy chairman Mohamad Hasan.

He said this would ensure party representation and keep members engaged, noting some areas had no BN candidates in the last polls, which hurt morale.

The proposal will be discussed at the top level with BN component parties.
