TAWAU: President of Tawau Hokkien Association, Gan Hock Song, called on the government to upgrade the Tinagat beach along Jalan Kampung Batu Payung here.Gan said it is the right time to preserve the coastal health and environment by reducing the usage of single-use plastic. He said this while officiating at the 22nd Sand Castle Making Competition 2022 held at the beach, last Sunday.
