PENAMPANG: The beneficiary of the land affected by the Pan Borneo Highway (Package WP06) here needs to claim co-ownership share at the Penampang Native Court and should contact the Valuation Section of the Lands and Surverys Department in Kota Kinabalu or the Penampang Assistant Collector Land Revenue Office for assistance.The advice came from the Director, Datuk Bernard Liew, in response to a report on July 26.
A total of 414 landowners were involved in this project and 320 titles had been fully compensated. Some 55 titles have not accepted compensation and 39 titled landowners have appealed for compensation review and the department has responded to all these appeals, he said.
