“Aside from the initiatives by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the State Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry has installed 24 very-small-aperture terminals (VSATs) to date and is planning to install 300 more this year.
“As of Jan 31, this year, satellite broadband has been installed in some 63 locations by MCMC.”
