LAHAD DATU: Police arrested three men and seized 5.17 grammes of syabu and 2kg of ketum powder in separate “Ops Tapis” operations conducted on May 12 and 13.

District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the arrests were made at three locations by the Narcotic Crime Investigation Division. Two suspects tested positive for drug abuse, while one had four previous drug-related records.

All suspects are being investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and the Poisons Act 1952. Police also urged the public to provide information on drug-related activities.
