SANDAKAN: Ceelecia Reeka Mosungin was crowned Sandakan Unduk Ngadau 2026 after emerging as the winner at the district-level Kaamatan Festival celebration held at Dewan Masyarakat Sandakan, last Saturday.
The 21-year-old Universiti Malaysia Sabah student walked away with RM10,000 in cash, a crown, trophy and bouquet. She was crowned by reigning titleholder Elly Reachel Marcus, the Unduk Ngadau Daerah Sandakan 2025 winner.

Ceelecia will represent Sandakan at the State-level Unduk Ngadau competition later this month at the Kadazan Dusun Cultural Association headquarters in Penampang.
Carren Augustine, 27, emerged runner-up and received RM7,000 in cash along with a trophy and bouquet, while third-placed Jaqualine Sadan, 25, took home RM5,000 in cash, a trophy and bouquet.
Revianey Roger Anjid, Angie Lim Hiew Yee, Velvera Unaver and Faith Amaryllis Balkin completed the list of winners in fourth to seventh placing, respectively.
The celebration was officiated by Sabah Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk James Ratib, who is also Vice President of the Kadazan Dusun Cultural Association and Sugut Assemblyman.
