Student’s leg trapped in drain

LABUAN: A secondary school student whose leg got trapped in a drain was attended to by firefighters on Friday.
The incident happened at 12.30pm Friday when the victim suddenly slipped and her leg got stuck in a narrow gap of the drain.
Initial attempts by members of the public to help were unsuccessful due to the tight position of the trapped leg, prompting an emergency call to the fire department.
Firefighters managed to free the victim’s leg.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
