Kota Kinabalu: Preparations for the Oil and Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) Sabah 2026 conference and exhibition are progressing steadily following a recent main committee meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Datuk Thomas Logijin, who also serves as chairman of the organising committee.
He said the session reinforced readiness and coordination among stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the inaugural event.
The committee is working closely with multiple government agencies to ensure smooth implementation across all aspects of the programme.
These include the Sabah State Home Affairs and Research Office, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), State Health Department, Education Department, State Protocol Department and other relevant technical agencies.
The collaboration is aimed at ensuring efficiency in logistics, security, health and protocol arrangements for participants.

The committee said the integrated approach is expected to provide a seamless experience for both local and international delegates.
The event is intended to serve as a platform to showcase Sabah’s industrial capabilities and strengthen the state’s position in the oil and gas services sector.
The organisers also clarified that OGSE Sabah 2026 is a separate event from the Sabah Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (SOGCE) 2026.
OGSE Sabah 2026 is jointly organised by the Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Ministry (Mindet), Sabah Oil and Gas Services Council (SOGSC) and Persatuan Kontraktor Petroleum Bumiputera Sabah (PKPBS), with support from SMJ Energy Sdn Bhd.
