TAMPARULI: PBS Tamparuli signalled its intent to recapture the Tamparuli seat at the next election as party leaders and grassroots members gathered for the "Mirumo-rumo Bersatu" programme at the Telibong polling district centre.

The programme was held to recognise the commitment and efforts of PBS members and election machinery during the last State election while also strengthening ties within the division.

Tamparuli PBS chief Datuk Seri Jahid Jahim expressed confidence in Bonaventure Boniface’s leadership, describing him as calm, patient and mature in facing political challenges, while urging members and supporters to put aside past conflicts, strengthen unity and focus on attracting new voters, especially those aged 18 to 20.

Jahid said the party’s previous defeat should serve as a lesson to rise stronger, while Bonaventure thanked party workers for their support, expressed his readiness to offer himself as the Tamparuli PBS chief, and said he was prepared to lead the division towards becoming stronger and more united.
