Kota Kinabalu: Hundreds of Filipinos converged on Le Méridien Hotel as the Philippine Embassy conducted a vital three-day consular outreach mission.
The exercise, which began on Friday and concludes today (April 19), serves as a critical lifeline for those in Sabah to regularise their documents and seek consular assistance.
The scale of the demand was evident from day one, with many applicants traveling from distant municipalities and districts.
Dozens of families—including the elderly and parents with young children—arrived at the venue as early as 4am, braving the humid morning air and the subsequent midday heat.
