Kota Kinabalu: Filipinos here again expressed frustration over their embassy’s three-day consular outreach mission which ended Sunday, saying there’s lack of understanding towards their need to get their documents processed (pic).
They called for the embassy to either extend future missions from three days to five or set up a permanent Philippine passport facilitation centre in Sabah.
Many were visibly upset over their inability to get their documents processed, especially those who failed to secure a confirmed online appointment.
“We wasted money, effort and time. The embassy should consider that not all Filipinos are adept at tech such as smartphones and computers,” said one of them.
