The 47-year-old Kriss rider was pronounced dead while receiving treatment, while his 40-year-old wife, riding pillion, escaped uninjured.
Investigations revealed the accident occurred around 12.30pm as the couple rode home for lunch.
The 27-year-old Vario rider, travelling in the opposite direction, lost control after swerving to avoid a road hump, veering into the path of the Kriss.
The Vario rider sustained serious injuries and is being treated at Tawau Hospital’s Orthopaedic Ward.
