SANYA: Tanjung Aru beach spans only two kilometres and will be easier to manage as a world-class tourism asset is placed under a single authority, yet it is neglected and unfriendly to visitors, said Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) Sabah Chapter, Chairman Mohd Azlan Saleh Abd Salam.

He said in its current state, it is neglected and unfriendly to visitors.

“Every activity is approved, monitored and controlled under one authority,” said Azlan, who was there to explore tourism products and attractions, recently.
