SANDAKAN: A teenage boy was found drowned after he was believed to have fallen into the sea at Kampung Tinosa, Batu 7, here Thursday afternoon.

The victim, Mohd Mahadir Danish Abdullah, 15, was discovered by his relative under a bridge at the water village at about 4pm.
It is understood that prior to the incident, the victim had gone to a nearby shop with a friend before he reportedly fell into the sea.
Sandakan Police Chief ACP George Abd Rakman said when police arrived at the scene, the victim was found lying unconscious on the bridge.
A medical officer from the Health Ministry later confirmed the victim’s death at the scene, with no signs of injury found and the case classified as sudden death pending a post-mortem at the Duchess of Kent Hospital.
