TAMBUNAN: Sawit Kinabalu must be guided by strong and experienced leadership to ensure the continued stability and resilience of Sabah’s palm oil industry, its Deputy Chairman Dato’ Victor P. Paut said.
Victor said that decisive leadership is crucial, particularly when facing global economic uncertainties that could affect commodity prices, operations and workers’ livelihoods.
As Deputy Chairman, his responsibilities include formulating strategic policies, overseeing management implementation, and ensuring that plantation operations are efficient, competitive and sustainable.
“This role is vital to ensure the state’s palm oil industry remains stable and continues contributing to Sabah’s economic growth,” he told reporters during a Chinese New Year walkabout programme held here, recently.
