KOTA KINABALU: The Coroner’s Court heard Tuesday that Zara Qairina Mahathir deeply valued her friendship with Student A, who has been charged in the Court for Children in connection with Zara’s incident.

Student A’s mother, the 62nd witness, confirmed she was aware of the close bond, saying her daughter initially felt pressured by the friendship but began to better understand Zara by June, describing the ups and downs as normal in a friendship.

During proceedings, TikTok videos showing Zara and Student A with other students were played in court.
