He had earlier advanced to the seven-player stepladder finals as first seed after successfully recording the best average score in both Hong Kong and Fukuoka oiling pattern challenges.
Fellow teammate Mohd Faris Faiq Afillah also made it to the stepladder as sixth seed, but was eliminated in match one.
However, he was able to take the Under 15 sub-category title and won himself a MQ ticket for the Junior All-Star Championship to be held at the end of the year.
Sabah Tenpin Bowling Association president Rozzainny Sham Talip congratulated the two players for their achievement.
He also thanked the other 33 representatives from Sabah who took part in the two-day competition.
Meanwhile, 36 State bowlers in nine teams are currently taking part in the Sarawak Hornbill Team Cup 2026 at the same venue, scheduled to be concluded on Saturday.
