KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysian National Consumers Foundation (YPNM) expressed its appreciation to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor for the proactive initiative and leadership of the Sabah Government in driving the implementation of the electricity interconnection project between Sabah and Sarawak to strengthen the state’s power supply system.

YPNM Sabah Chairman David Chan said the early initiative by the State Government reflects a strong and forward-looking commitment to addressing long-standing energy security challenges, particularly in enhancing the stability and reliability of the Southern Sabah Grid for consumers and the industrial sector.
