KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor called on qualified Sabahans to accept postings outside Sabah, including in Peninsular Malaysia, to increase Sabah representation in the Federal civil service.
He said Sabahans should not hesitate to take up offers, even for high-ranking positions based in Putrajaya, as this would strengthen Sabah’s role and understanding within the national administration.

SPA Malaysia chairman Datuk Sri Dr Ahmad Jailani Muhamed Yunus said applications from Sabahans have increased, with about 2,000 appointed to Federal service each year, mostly serving within Sabah.
To support recruitment, SPA will open a new interview centre this year at the Keningau UTC, in addition to existing centres in Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau, and will continue outreach programmes and cooperation with SPA Sabah.
