LABUAN: The Labuan Chinese Chamber of Commerce hopes AirBorneo, which is owned by the Sarawak Government, will improve its service.
Chamber Chairman Wong Kii Yii said the travel experience was not as convenient and comfortable as when operated by MASwings till end of last year.
Citing his own experiences with AirBorneo, he said: “I was booked on the My3046 Labuan-KK flight on Jan 16. The boarding was fixed at 16.05 but the flight was delayed by about two hours and the passengers were uninformed until the last minute. It finally took off at around 1800hrs.”
He said when the flight landed at KK, it was raining but no umbrellas were provided though there were umbrellas seen at a MASwings’ trolley nearby. He said the plight of seniors should be considered.
