Yaindry told the court that he wanted to plead guilty to the charge against him as he was tired of repeated court appearances.
During the case management, the prosecution was supposed to serve all the relevant documents to Yaindry.
Yaindry is accused of robbing the worker of 7-Eleven of RM213.80 at the Teo Ee The Shopping Complex, Phase 1, Tuaran.
The offence under Section 392 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to 14 years and whipping, on conviction.
Pending the disposal of his case, Yaindry was further remanded.
In the same court, a 31-year-old man will know also on Feb 12 of his punishment for taking syabu repeatedly.
The date had been fixed for facts and sentencing on Ibrahim Adek who pleaded guilty to the charge against him.
But, his punishment was deferred as the court had trial for another case.
Ibrahim allegedly took the drug at 7.20pm on Sept 2, 2025 after his urine tested positive for drug at the police station here.
He has two previous conviction records for taking syabu on Oct 23, 2019 and Jan 30, 2023.
No bail was offered to Ibrahim.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Bryan Francis appeared for the prosecution while Yaindry and Ibrahim were not represented.
