Kota Kinabalu: Youth Development, Sports Advancement and Creative Economy Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan has instructed Sabah Sports Board to act swiftly on public complaints of their facilities and services.

This followed recent outburst by some parents and a video circulating on social media highlighting the poor condition of the gymnastics hall at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex.

It was understood that some of the parents whose children train at the gym had also raised the matter with the person-in-charge, but received no action.

“After I received information regarding the gymnastic hall, I have requested Sabah Sports Board management who are responsible for all sports facilities in the State to report to me as soon as possible so that the Ministry can take the appropriate action.
