Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor witnessed the symbolic presentation of RM4.17million in a cheque replica from POIC Sabah Sdn Bhd to the State Government at Menara Kinabalu, Wednesday.

The amount represented a contribution of RM2 million to the State Government and Federal loan repayment of RM2.17 million for the year 2025. 

POIC Sabah’s new Chairman Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau presented the mock cheque to Finance Deputy Permanent Secretary Chee Shok Ting.

Present were Deputy Chief Minister III cum Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick, State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr Safar Untong, Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Permanent Secretary Datuk Thomas Logijin and POIC Sabah Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Fredian Gan.
