BEAUFORT: Two men were injured after a Proton Wira skidded off the road shoulder along Jalan Lubak Gadung here in the early hours of Monday.

The accident was reported at 2.03am, with both victims taken to the hospital by Health Ministry ambulances before the Fire and Rescue Department team from Beaufort arrived at the scene.

Firefighters later secured the area to ensure there were no further hazards before ending the operation at about 2.30am, with police and medical personnel also involved.
