KUNAK: A karaoke outlet on the first floor of Maganting Plaza here was broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
CCTV footage shows a man wearing a hooded jacket entering the premises through an unbarred sliding restroom window at around 1.50am.
The suspect was seen rifling through cabinets and stealing RM365 in cash and a 43-inch LCD television, with total losses estimated at RM1,065.
The 43-year-old owner lodged a police report at the Kunak District Police Headquarters.
The incident was shared on the Orang Kunak community Facebook page, drawing attention from local residents.
Police have inspected the premises and collected fingerprints to help identify the suspect, who is believed to have acted with one or more accomplices.
The CCTV images of the suspect have circulated on social media as authorities appeal for information from the public.
