With this operation, a total of 2,375 Indonesians and 10,431 undocumented migrants overall have been repatriated from Sabah to date.
Immigration warned employers against hiring or sheltering undocumented workers, stressing that strict action will be taken under the Immigration Act 1959/63, including heavy fines, imprisonment and whipping.
Employers are also urged to participate in Sabah’s digital foreign worker registration initiative to curb documentation issues and illegal migration.
