Kota Kinabalu: Aslie Sahat has been elected unopposed as President of the Persatuan Mantan Pendidik Sabah (Sabah Former Educators Association - PMPS) for the 2025–2027 term during the association’s biennial general meeting at Wisma Wanita.
The election, held in a cordial and harmonious atmosphere, saw several key positions also filled without contest, reflecting strong consensus among members to strengthen the association’s direction in championing the welfare of former educators and supporting education excellence in Sabah.
Hussin Basir and Datuk Dr Zulkifli Syukur were returned unopposed as Deputy President and Vice President respectively.
Alli Majittaba and Dr Kassim Buntak were appointed Secretary-General and Assistant Secretary-General, while Shahrizan Abdullah retained his post as Treasurer-General, also uncontested.
