Vote next government based on track record: Hajiji
Hajiji with the communities of Tanjong Kapor and Banggi at Rumah Kita, Kita Jaga GRS campaign for Banggi and Tanjong Kapor at Dataran Tomborungus Kudat.
KUDAT: Caretaker Chief Minister and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said people should think twice if they intend to vote for parties that have failed to govern Sabah.

Instead, they should choose the GRS Government which has demonstrated good performance and the ability to govern Sabah over the past five years.

“The GRS Government has implemented various initiatives and programmes and has enhanced economic development, including State revenue collection and reserves.

“This is an achievement the people should be proud of. We want to take Sabah to the next level after this election so that it can be on par with other states.

Kota Kinabalu: KOTA KINABALU: Fiesta Mega Raya (FMR) 2026 is set to be the largest and most prestigious Hari Raya celebration in Sabah, taking place from March 7 to 18, at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), here.
“We are not talking empty words like the opposition, who like to spread slander and engage in rhetoric that is ultimately hollow,” he said at the Rumah Kita, Kita Jaga GRS campaign event for the Banggi and Tanjong Kapor state constituencies at Dataran Tomborungus, Tuesday.

Also present were the GRS candidates for Banggi Datuk Mohammad Mohamarin and Tanjong Kapor Datuk Chong Chen Bin.

“I am impressed with both of these leaders because they have their own vision for developing their respective areas, particularly in education and infrastructure development.

“They are planning for the benefit of the people and these are the kind of leaders we want to serve the people, leaders with vision and goals,” he said.

“In the past five years, we have developed the economy, attracted investors and established a new industrial park in Kudat known as the Blue Economy Industrial Park.

“This is a government that brings various benefits to the people. In the past, we did not hear of plans like this, but only the GRS Government is thinking ahead.

“If all these plans, including the industrial park, can be implemented in Kudat, the people of this district will certainly benefit. It will definitely create job opportunities for residents in this district,” he said.

He again reminded the people not to be easily influenced by leaders or parties that claim the GRS Government has failed.

“The reality is that they are the ones who have failed, as some have previously served as Chief Ministers, Federal Rural Development Minister and Sabah Works Minister.

“Yet the problems of water supply, electricity and rural roads in the State remain unresolved.

“They claim the State Government has failed, but in fact it is they who have failed. Therefore, give the GRS Government another five years. More development can be brought if the people continue to give their mandate,” he said.

Later, at the mega rally at Matunggong Open Hall, Hajiji hoped the voters of Matunggong will not make the wrong choice but vote for the GRS candidate Datuk Julita Mojungki.

“In Matunggong, many candidates are contesting, but the record of Julita as a representative and Assistant Minister has been commendable and has brought progress to Matunggong,” he said.

Hajiji also attended the Rumah Kita, Kita Jaga GRS campaign for Bandau constituency at PDM Bongon, Pekan Lama, Kota Marudu, later the same day.
