TAMPARULI: CM Hajiji expressed confidence that Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)-Pakatan Harapan (PH) will secure victory in this Saturday’s election. He said since the start of the campaign on Nov 15, the people have become increasingly clear in their desire for continuity under the GRS-PH administration for the State’s progress.
“In the areas I visited, alhamdulillah, the reception towards GRS-PH candidates has been very positive. Many want to move forward. They said they have already given others a chance and they want the GRS Government to continue for the next five years.”

Hajiji, who is also GRS Chairman, said the strong momentum reflects the people’s desire for political stability and continuous development.
At the same time, the GRS candidate for Sulaman state seat urged voters who will be casting their ballots during early voting this Tuesday to choose candidates who can genuinely bring progress to their respective constituencies.
“We give voters their freedom. Their vote is their right. But if I may advise, choose candidates who can bring development – not only for the constituency, but for the future of Sabah,” he said.
Hajiji said GRS should “sweep” all four state seats in Tuaran – namely Tamparuli, Kiulu, Sulaman and Pantai Dalit.
Fierce contests are underway in Tamparuli, which features a 13-cornered fight, followed by Kiulu (eight-cornered), Pantai Dalit (seven-cornered) and Sulaman (five-cornered).
