INANAM: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (

He said several parts of the judgment appeared to pin blame on previous Federal administrations and former Sabah leaders, which he felt did not reflect their contributions to the country.

Anwar said the appeal does not dispute Sabah’s constitutional right to the entitlement but seeks to remove statements that suggest past prime ministers and Sabah leaders had acted wrongly.
He added that negotiations on the 40 per cent entitlement would resume on Monday, signalling the government’s intention to move the matter forward.
Anwar also urged Sabah voters to elect representatives who can work constructively with the Federal Government to ensure smoother implementation of development projects.
