KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Entrepreneurs Transformation (SET), Verdant Solar Sdn. Bhd., and Montfort Youth Training Centre have signed an MoU to advance renewable energy education, green innovation, and youth employment in Sabah.

As part of the partnership, Verdant Solar will install a 27 kWp rooftop solar PV system at Montfort under its CSR initiative “Brightening Lives, Empowering Futures,” and introduce a Basic Solar PV Learning Module to train students in solar technology and installation.

SET President Dato George Lim said the collaboration aligns with SET’s 10-year vision to nurture 10,000 sustainable entrepreneurs, while Verdant Solar CEO Zeth Lim described it as a long-term investment in human capital and clean energy.

The partnership aims to drive sustainability, skill development, and inclusive growth toward a greener, more resilient Sabah.
