SHAH ALAM: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) respects the prerogative of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in determining the Cabinet reshuffle, amid ongoing speculation of an impending reshuffle.

‎‎Its president, Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, said the party had no intention of proposing any of its MPs for ministerial posts, and would instead leave the matter entirely to the Prime Minister’s discretion.

“The Cabinet (composition) is the Prime Minister’s prerogative. He may choose politicians, professionals, party members, or even individuals outside the party; the decision is entirely his.

“Amanah will accept whatever decision is made. What matters is strengthening the team as we prepare for the upcoming elections,” he said at a press conference after opening the 2025 Amanah National Convention here today.
