The programme focused on using creative arts as a tool to communicate sustainability messages. Pupils took part in producing badges and refrigerator magnets under the themes “Earth in My Hands: My Badge of Hope” and “Stick & Pledge: Creative Pupils’ Green Promise”.
OHSC advisor Associate Professor Dr Zulkhairul Naim Sidek Ahmad said the programme introduced the One Health concept, which links human, animal, and environmental health.
He said the creative activities enabled pupils to translate environmental awareness into tangible expressions.
Shangri-La Rasa Ria Kota Kinabalu Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Yvonne Sipain said the collaboration supported ongoing efforts in environmental education and biodiversity conservation.
She said such initiatives were important in strengthening environmental responsibility among younger generations.
A pupil representative, Candelle Ohia Hosana, said she was glad to participate and pledged to practise environmental care.
The programme ended with a group photo session featuring the pupils’ completed works.
