PENAMPANG: Appointment letters for all 60 Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) chairmen elected in the Moyog state constituency will be issued once the administrative process is completed.
Moyog Assemblyman Datuk Donald Peter Mojuntin
(pic) said the process was being carried out according to established procedures following the completion of village-level elections throughout the constituency.
Donald said the elections were conducted by the Moyog Community Development Leader Unit (PPM) with assistance from community leaders under the Native Court system.
He added that the slight delay was due to coordination, verification of results and documentation, but it had not affected the ability of most elected JKKK chairmen to carry out their responsibilities.
He assured that the appointment letters would be issued soon and urged JKKK chairmen to continue serving their communities in the meantime.
