Kota Kinabalu: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim called women indispensable to Malaysia's Madani nation at the State-level Melangkah Bersama Madani: Wanita Beriman, Wanita Bertahan Programme, here, Saturday.
The event drew overwhelming support from participants Statewide.
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister Department (Religious Affairs) Senator Marhamah Rosli announced plans for a community Syariah mediation programme and a Mobile Court to bring justice services to Sabah's remote interior communities.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor was among those present.
